Pokémon Black & White

Pokémon Black and White are first games in the fifth generation. They contain all new Pokémon and take place in the Unova Region. The games introduce all new Pokémon along with older Pokémon that can be found after beating the game. The starters are Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott.

The games have a lot of new features packed in. Like the previous generation four games, Black and White have enhanced 3D capabilities and include a 3D bridge and city. The games also allow you to transfer your Pokémon from the generation four games with the PokéShifter. There is also some online features that have been added like the Pokémon Global Link, where you can engage in random battles or enter the Dream World. The Dream World is basically the game online in that you can capture Pokémon, obtain berries, and other items and then send them back to your game.

Players with a DSi or 3DS also have some exclusive features not available on the DS or DS Lite. One feature is called the Live Caster. This allows you to video chat with your friends around the world.
