Japanese Pokemon Centre Forum Re-Open
Article Posted By: DGee on April 29, 2008 : 14:15 EST
The Pokemon Centre Japan File Forum has been cleaned up and re-opened :) Due to a newly discovered way of checking GBA Pokemon we found that roughly 90% of all JPN PC Pokes currently being traded are HACKED!!!! This new method doesnt just cover JPN PC Pokes but it goes for all Pokemon that have been Pal Parked over from the GBA games to the DS.... I am going to explain a little bit what this checking method is just so people can understand it and not just take my word for it.... These checks are done by looking at the pkm file in a Hex Editor. There are 2 areas of a pkm file that contain data which tells us how a Pokemon got into your DS game. There are currently 3 ways of ORIGINALLY getting a GBA Pokemon into a DS game (this does not include trading or the GTS seeing as someone had to have obtained that Pokemon in their DS game before you received it) For anyone who knows a little about hex here is the basic info of what i mean : FF FF FF FF = A Pokemon was received onto the DS game via a Wonder Card Event 02 ** 06 ** = The Pokemon was Pal Parked from the GBA to the DS (i have blanked out some of this data to prevent attempted hacking which is pointless anyway as i will explain in a moment) 00 00 00 00 = Pokesav made or Pokesav Edited. Because a Pokemon has been HACKED using Pokesav and simply loaded into the DS game, these areas will just be blanked out with 00's , this is what shows us that it is a HACK. So whats stopping the HACKERS from simply adding this legit data to the pkm file in a Hex Editor ?? well the answer is nothing is stopping them BUT if a pkm file has been edited in a Hex Editor its easy to spot....once the Pokemon has been loaded into your game and then withdrawn from your storage box to your party or vica versa then that HACKED data is lost and it reverts back to 00 00 much like if you hacked the PP on the moves of a Pokemon would...moving for box to party or party to box will revert the Pokemon back to its original state before the hacking took place.... So there you have it......if you have any questions i will try my best to answer them on the Forum.

US Darkrai Event Announced
Article Posted By: DGee on April 24, 2008 : 6:01 EST
The US Darkrai Event has finally been announced. Toys R Us stores will be distributing the Darkrai at a 2 day event at Toys R Us stores across the country.... The event will be held on May 31st and June 1st 2008 from 12pm to 4pm
Little is known about the TRU Darkrai yet but early indications show that Darkrai will be Level 70 which rules out the possibility that this will be the Island Darkrai from the DP games as that is Level 40. It also appears that the Darkrai will have the moves Dark Void, Bad Dreams and Dark Pulse...
More information as i get it.

Pokémon World News!!!
Article Posted By: DGee on April 24, 2008 : 5:14 EST
Well it seems that poor Piplup had finally grown tired of being used as a personal hair stylish for its trainer May.... A close friend of the Pokémon Master in training Ash exclusively told us today, and i quote "Piplup just seemed to snap....it simply refused to bubblebeam May's hair after seeing it had grown like a tumble weed. May tried to reason with Piplup but it just slapped May in the face and said something i would rather not repeat..." Here is an exclusive picture showing Piplup trying to make its getaway with Ash and Pikachu in hot pursuit....
My advice...Run Piplup!!!! , if i had to be trained by a frizzy haired trainer wearing an 80's style bandanna in an atempt to hide it then i think i would run too.... More news as we get it, so make sure you stay tuned....
