CoroCoro scan of Celebi

A scan from the Japanese magazine CoroCoro has revealed that Celebi will be the event Pokémon given out at the upcoming movie. It is joined by the shiny version of the three legendary dogs of Johto, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

It will be available to download in movie theaters from July 10, 2010 to September 30, 2010. It is unclear at this time if there will be sneak previews of the movie before the official opening like previous years.

The Celebi is level 50, captured in a Cherish Ball, holds a Jaboca Berry, and has a few nice moves which include Nasty Plot, Leaf Storm, Recover, and Healing Wish. The Celebi also activates an in-game event in HeartGold and SoulSilver involving time travel and Team Rocket.
