I guess to start this off I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

Our first piece of news is about the 10th anniversary Mew from Gold and Silver. The original date for second distribution was January 29, 2010 to February 11, 2010, but, Pokémon Japan has extended the download period to Sunday, February 14, 2010. It will be available to Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver.

Our second piece of news is that the Yellow Forest Pokéwalker course will be available for download again to Japanese players from Tuesday, February 16, 2010 to Sunday, February 28, 2010. The map allows you to catch only Pikachu in a "Yellow Forest" and they know special moves.

New Rumble Password and Korea Shiny Pichu Info
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on December 18, 2009 : 06:49 EST

Rattata

The official Pokémon Rumble website has revealed the password for the shiny Rattata. The US password has been known for a while and is 9849-3731. The European password is 0215-3612. In both areas, the Rattata knows Reversal and Double Edge.

In other event news, we received the Korean Pikachu-colored Pichu yesterday and the info was posted on the Korea DS Event List. A special note is that it is met at a Pokémon Movie instead of a Pokémon Event.

We expect to have the Korean Arceus information posted soon.

Time Frame for US Pikachu-colored Pichu
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on December 15, 2009 : 16:49 EST

Spiky-Eared Pichu event in Ilex Forest

To start, the official Pokémon.com web site had updated their HeartGold and SoulSilver site yesterday evening with more information about the games, along with showing the new features like the Pokédex and how to get the Spiky-Eared Pichu.

It says, "There's a very special Pichu heading to Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum versions! This shiny Pichu is a Pokémon that is much deeper yellow in color than most Pichu. And it has bright red cheecks-much like its famous evolved form, Pikachu! Stay tuned for more information about how to receive this special Pichu."

Our inside source at Toys"R"Us says that they are still working out the details of the event, but it will most likely be the week before or the week of the release of Pokémon HeartGold Version and SoulSilver Version, a "get this on your older game and use it in this new game you can buy" kind of strategy.

Stay tuned for dates and all the information on the Pichu a week before the event like we always do.

Thanks to Pokemaniac for the information on the time line.
