The official Pokémon and Pokémon Platinum websites have announced the Member Card for Pokémon Platinum. It is available from Monday, August 3, 2009 to Sunday, September 13, 2009.

It is only available via Wi-Fi. The wonder card is entitled "The Member Card!" and will allow you to catch Darkrai on Newmoon Island.

To battle and capture Darkrai, you must first have the National Pokédex. Make sure you visit the little boy in Canalave City who is having nightmares. Travel to Full Moon Island and approach Cresselia. It will flee and leave the Lunar Wing. Return to the boy and save him from his nightmare. Then, hop on the ferry at the Harbor Inn on the northeast section of the city. Newmoon Island will now be available as a destination and Darkrai will be waiting for you, so be ready to catch it. It is at level 50 and its ability is Bad Dreams.

The Nintendo-Europe site has been updated today to announce when and where Regigigas can be downloaded from. It is available to Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

It is available at six different locations across Spain. It is available at the following dates and locations:
July 11 - 12 : Barbate (Cádiz)
July 18 - July 19 : Punta Umbria (Huelva)
July 25 - July 26 : Torrox (Málaga)
August 1 - 2 : A Coruña
August 15 - 16 : Torredembarra (Tarragona)
August 29 - 30 : Sitges (Barcelona)

According to the site, it has already been given out at three different locations.

In other news, the Portugal site has been updated slightly to include the Pokédex information of Regigigas and how to get the other three Regis in the game. It does not say when players will be able to download the Regigigas.

According to our inside source, Nintendo/The Pokémon Company is working on a new event for the Toys"R"Us stores in the United States. It will be happening sometime in or around the middle of November, this year of course.

What is the event going to be you ask? Well, we don't know yet. What we do know is that it is only for Pokémon Platinum.

That would lead us to think that is in an item event like maybe the Member's Card, used to visit Darkrai on New Moon Island. However, we do not know for sure it is an item event. It could very well be a Pokémon event.

We will bring you more information on this breaking news in the coming months when we are closer to November.

It is late evening in Japan on July 20 right now. That means that if the Birthday Charmander was going to be given out at the Tokyo PokéCenter in Japan, it would have already started a couple hours ago. We are proud to be the first english event site to announce that it was possible occurring and now we can official announce that it is occurring.

When we first announced it 3 days ago, we speculated as to what the information of the Charmander would be. Everything is the same as the previous two Charmanders except of course for the ID, secret ID and the nature. We tried to guess that the nature would be quiet but it turns out that the nature is actually naughty.

Hopefully the next time we report on a Birthday Charmander, it will be for Heart Gold and Soul Silver instead of Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

Another year has almost passed for the Birthday Charmander at the Tokyo PokéCenter in Tokyo, Japan. It has been a two year tradition and will they continue it for another year?

According to a staff member at the PokéCenter, it will! While their is no official announcement yet on the official Tokyo PokéCenter website, if it is true, news of the 2009-2010 Charmander should appear soon.

You have a three day window to get to the PokéCenter and receive your presents from the staff. Basically, you have a week to get your presents, three days before and three days after, including your actual birthday. However, you must have some identification to prove it is your birthday. You can also receive a jumbo gift card.

We expect the OT to be トウキョ－ and the ID to be 07209. It will probably be level 40 and holding a Lucky Egg in a Cherish Ball. If they are following the same tradition, we can expect the nature to be quiet and male in gender. Remember though, this is only speculation and is NOT confirmed information.

The biggest event of the Netherlands Pokémon, Pokémon Day, takes place for the second time in Walibi World on August 29 and 30 from 10am to 6pm. Everyone who brings their copy of Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum will be able to download the legendary Regigigas.

Children can sign up for a Pokémon quiz to find out who is the biggest Pokémon fan in the country. The winner gets a trophy entitled "Biggest Fan of Pokemon USA."

Pokémon Day tickets can be ordered online from the website www.pokemonday.nl for €20.

Nintendo of Korea's website has confirmed the Secret Key for Platinum to be available via Wi-Fi starting July 6 and ending August 31.

In order for you to access the Secret Room, go to the Eterna City Team Galactic Hideout and then go to the top left corner of the room and press the A button at the wall between the left wall and the bookcase. This will open up a whole new room in the building. When you go into the room, you will see 5 different appliances on the floor (which come to be the 5 forms). Make sure you have a Rotom in your party when you encounter the appliances.

The Feebas, Munchlax, and Secret Key event in South Korea is now over. I received the Feebas and Munchlax last night and with that, I am posting some of the information on the two Pokemon.

Feebas is at level 5. The OT for Feebas is also the same as Munchlax. The ID is 07049. It is set natured and is female. It is holding a Pamtre Berry and has a Classic Ribbon.

The 12th movie preview that we mentioned last Monday was today. Arceus was given out just like we originally said. Like all movies shown in Japan, the very end of the movie showed a preview of the up and coming 13th movie featuring Ho-oh and Lugia. It also features the three legendary dogs and the infamous red Gyarados...in 3D. The Arceus is random natured and met at Pokémon Movie 09.

Last night, the official Pokémon Korea website announced the 2009 Pokémon Exciting Adventure festival. It will take place July 24th and 25th from 10am to 6pm and July 26th from 10am to 5pm. There will be many activities going on. There are five different areas people can visit, a stage, a game zone, a play zone, a Shaymin zone all about Shaymin, and a shop.

First off, the Battle Series will be going into its second stage. Players will once again be battling for the Championship.

At the entrance of the stage, a Pikachu and Piplup will greet people. There will showing the Giratina and Shaymin movie and giving quizzes. If you win one a quiz, you get a Pokémon Present Set.

At the game area, you can trade and battle with other players. People will also be able to download an event Pikachu and the Secret Key for Pokémon Platinum.

At the play zone, there will be five games where you can collect stamps. The stamps you get are determined by the teamwork of you and 4 teammates in each game. If you are able to get all of the stamps, you can redeem them for a special gift.

At the Shaymin area, the visitors can write a letter of gratitude to a person and give it to the staff. As more letters are submitted, visitors can see Shaymin begin to change formes. Among the people who submitted a lettter, the staff will choose 10 people and give them a bouquet from the Shaymin and the Sky Warrior movie and a Shaymin Gift.

The shop is just a place to buy stuffed Pokémon dolls including a Shaymin land and sky forme doll.

UPDATE: According to multiple Korean players on Japanese forums, Shaymin is going to be distributed as an event. We will try to get more information on this.
