Pokémon Movie 2009 Early Screening
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on June 29, 2009 : 11:03 EST
Once again, a select few people will have the chance to view the 2009 Pokémon Movie a few days early. The movie features the legendary Arceus and an extra special Pichu with a funny jagged ear. Tokyo and Osaka will be showing the movie on July 5. Other select locations will be on the 11th and 12th. Three people can enter with just one ticket. Like the 2008 Pokémon Movie, they will probably be giving away the Arceus event to people who have the tickets. If you want to go and didn't get a ticket, you can go to auctions.yahoo.co.jp and you will find tickets to bid on averaging ¥3000 to ¥5000. Thanks to our member kotobuki for supplying this information.

Release Date for HeartGold and SoulSilver and NOK News
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on June 26, 2009 : 8:40 EST
First, the official Japanese Pokémon site has announced the release date for the HeartGold and SoulSilver. It is set to be released September 12, 2009. It is also going to cost 4800 yen like the other games, suggesting that the PokéWalker will not make the package cost more when it comes to the US and Europe. No other information has been announced. Also last night, the Pokémon Korea site updated the Feebas and Munchlax page which announced that they were going to become events. It just gives Pokédex information on both and their evolutions. As far as I can tell, nothing of real importance was announced except for the times and held items. Munchlax is holding leftovers and has the ability thick fat. Feebas is holding a Pamtre Berry and knows Mirror Coat.
Times the Events are Available I don't see why that can't just get a few more people to help out instead of making people come back an hour later each time to get the next event. Because of this, the events might be even more rare.
Three New Korean Events
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on June 20, 2009 : 8:18 EST
First, I would like to mention that Pocket Monsters PT Giratina (Pokémon Platinum) will be available in Korea on July 2. You must have a legitimate copy of the game in order to receive Mystery Gift events. They do check to see if you have a flash cart so don't take it. The official Korean Pokémon site has announced that the Secret Key, used to unlock the secret room with Rotom's five appliances, will be available from July 4 and July 5 at the Sin Se Gae Department Store on the eighth floor. It also states that the Secret Key will be available to download via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. More details on that will be available at a later date. The site also says that there will be two Pokémon that will also be available to download on July 4 and July 5 on the eighth floor. Munchlax and Feebas will be the two Pokemon available to download. More details will be revealed next Friday. Lastly, the Korean Pokémon Platinum site has been opened. Here is the link to it. Pokémon Platinum Korea.com
NZ Jirachi, Wi-Fi or No?
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on June 18, 2009 : 8:01 EST
Today is the start to the NZ Jirachi and it has cause a lot of controversy before it even started. Many people say it is available via Wi-Fi around the world and others say it is not. Well, today I am here to give the true answer. When I got up this morning, I went straight to my DS and started playing Platinum for Japan. I started the Mystery Gift process and one appeared! I then proceeded to download it and I saw Jirachi appear on the touch screen. I now have the Jirachi event, without going to Japan. So, this event is available to anyone with a Japanese copy of Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum and have access to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. One other small note is that it is only 6/18 in Japan right now and the event is available 6/19 to 7/17, so, the WiFi side of the event is on early.
Japanese Pokémon Site Opens Mini-Page for HG and SS
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on June 15, 2009 : 08:33 EST
Today Pokemon.co.jp has posted a new mini-site that is all about HeartGold and SoulSilver. It is very nice looking and has a lot of pictures including a map of Johto from CoroCoro and mentions Firered and LeafGreen. Most of the pictures are just higher quality images that were used in CoroCoro. The new Pokédex is also shown and it shows the screen of Mareep on the Pokédex. One of the sections on the site shows Ho-Oh and Lugia and gives the Pokédex stats in them and shows a screen from the intro scene when you encounter them. Also, the silhouettes of Kyogre, Groudon, and and arrow pointing down to Rayquaza is also seen on another page. Another section goes into detail about the main characters. The Team Rocket grunt and Professor Elm are included, but there are two Coming Soon boxes next to them. There is a whole section on the site dedicated to the PokéWalker. It explains what it is, how to use it, and what each screen means. Unfortunately, about half the content on the site still says coming soon, so be sure to watch this page and Pokemon.co.jp for more information!
Japanese Pokémon Site Confirms New Event Jirachi
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on June 14, 2009 : 22:16 EST
Today Pokemon.co.jp has posted a new page about the Jirachi event available on the 19th. It is available to Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. It is available at McDonalds, the Nintendo Zone, and DS Download Stations. There is also a mention to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection...you are probably thinking, is it available to everyone with a Japanese version of D/P/P? Well, no. It is only available at the three locations via WiFi. There is also more information on the Jirachi. The ID of 06199 is now confirmed. The Official Trainer has now been revealed, which is NZ. I am guessing it is for Nintendo Zone. There is also an image of the move set There is also a picture at the bottom of the page with a date range of 7/21 to 8/28 and shows two pictures of Jirachi that might be stickers or posters. Be sure to check back soon to find out is going on four days after the event is over.
Battle Series Arcanine
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on June 13, 2009 : 10:03 EST
On June 6 and June 7, the 2009 Battle Series took place in Korea. Many people have probably yet to even see a hacked, let alone a legit version of the Arcanine yet. Well, we now know some of the information about the Arcanine. First of all, the OT is NOT Pikachu Cafe. If someone tries trading you an Arcanine with the Pikachu Cafe OT, they are scamming you. I will not be posting the OT anytime soon to prevent hackers from trying to make a legit looking Arcanine. The ID is 06069. It is at level 50. It is captured inside a Cherish Ball. The Arcanine is holding a piece of Charcoal as well. There is also something peculiar about the nature and gender. I also will not be sharing this information anytime soon to prevent hacks. According to a trustworthy source, this Arcanine is not as rare as the three Pikachu Cafe events. There were over one hundred of the Arcanine given out at the event. For now, this is about all the information I know about the event and the Arcanine. Stay tuned for more information!

Higher quality images have appeared on a Japanese site from this months edition of CoroCoro and shows us much more about the two upcoming games. The first image shows Johto and Kanto in the background, confirming that Kanto will play a part in the games. Route 27 is in the bottom right corner of the image and that is the route that connects Johto with Kanto. The second image gives us more details on the Jirachi to be given out in McDonalds, DS Download Stations, and the Nintendo Zone. It also has a special move, Draco Meteor. The third image just talks about the Pikachu-Colored Pichu and the Notched-Ear Pichu and how the Pikachu-Colored Pichu activates an event in the Ilex Forest. It also shows Cynthia and Arceus and has one of them saying "given the right to choose one life out of three." The fourth image just shows the PokéWalker and shows Pikachu and what appears to be a Kangaskhan. The bottom of the image shows what appears to be what happens when you encounter Ho-oh and Lugia. The last image is just a higher quality image of the Jirachi announcement showing the moveset of the Jirachi and it using Draco Meteor. The Jirachi is at level 5 and is captured in a Cherish Ball.
