Pokémon Rumble Web Site Updated
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on November 30, 2009 : 18:17 EST

Pokémon Rumble logo

The official web site for Pokémon Rumble has been updated some time earlier today. One of the passwords is for the Sky Forme of Shaymin has been posted next to the Mew on the password page.

The other additions is the Pokémon matching game is now playable. You must drag the same Pokémon to the bottom and into the Drop Zone. The higher in evolution or rarity, the more points you get. Regigias and Mewtwo are worth 100 points, but are very rare while Pidgey and Rattata are worth 10 points and are abundant. You only have 30 seconds to get as many points as you can. 400 points, or four stars, will unlock all three of the passwords.

The US site only posts the Charmander and Squirtle passwords and gives a tip on how to get Bulbasaur in the game. To get Bulbasaur, you need to start the game with a Kanto starter and go to the Silent Forest stage. If you are lucky enough, one of the Bulbasaur you tip over will become a part of your collection. The Europe sites post the Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle passwords.

For a list of passwords, visit our US password page or our Europe password page.

Pokémon Rumble Has Arrived
Article Posted By: yankeesrule3526 on November 16, 2009 : 11:16 EST Update 20:17

Pokémon Rumble logo

A couple weeks ago we posted two pictures from the Toys"R"Us Arceus event showing that Pokémon Rumble would be released to WiiWare November 16, 2009. That day has finally arrived.

There has been a lot of speculation as to how much the game will cost. There have been rumors of 1200, 1500, and 2000 Wii Points. Well, as it is in Japan, the game costs 1500 Wii Points. There is also a free game demo available. The game is rated E10+.

Also, anyone who joins or is registered on Club Nintendo will have the opportunity to unlock an exclusive Toy Pokémon character that can be used in the game. All you have to do is connect your Wii Shop Channel account to your Club Nintendo account and purchase Pokémon Rumble. Then, wait for an e-mail containing a special password that lets you access the character in the game. More information about this offer can be found at us.wii.com. The offer is available til April 30, 2010. The character is a flamethrowing Charizard.

Game Description from Nintendo
"Available exclusively for the WiiWare service, Pokémon Rumble is an action game in which you control Toy Pokémon (referred to as "Pokémon") and take on wave after wave of other Pokémon in a variety of stages. You can befriend some of the defeated Pokémon along the way, which lets you add them to your collection and grants you the ability to use them in battle. Switch between collected Pokémon at any time, taking advantage of the fact that the amount of damage you deal depends on the type of move used and the type of Pokémon hit. Be the last one standing to gain the right to compete in the Battle Royale and test your skills against many Pokémon at once. You can also team up with three people for some multiplayer action (additional Wii Remote controllers required), working together to take down tough Bosses and earning points that can be used toward recruiting or training Pokémon. You can even save your favorite Pokémon to your Wii Remoteā„¢ controller for exchanges with friends. Combining beautiful cel-shaded graphics and exciting game-play features, this is one rumble you won't want to miss. Note that a demo version of Pokémon Rumble is also available for zero Wii Points."

At the time this article was posted, the Pokémon Rumble web site is still not up. We will update this when it is.

Update
The web site is now up and has revealed a password for a Mew that knows Cut. The site is available in many languages and the password for Mew is different from the US and the European contires. On this page, there are four more passwords to be revealed. Visit our Pokémon Rumble section for all passwords available. Also, there is a section on the site where you play games for more passwords. The games are not available yet.
