According to a picture and a few people on Japanese forums, the Pokémon Center in Nagoya is starting a birthday event like the Tokyo and Yokohama Pokémon Centers. This information has not been confirmed by the official Pokémon Center Nagoya web site yet. I first learned about this a few days before the official release of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver in Japan. It apparently started on the release date of the games, September 12, 2009. The Pokémon Center was closed 9/1 to 9/11 for renovations. The Pokémon is Chimchar. The OT is ナゴヤ (Nagoya) with an ID of 09129. It is said to be male and mild natured. It is captured in a Cherish Ball with a Classic Ribbon and holding on to a Lucky Egg. Remember, this is not 100% confirmed by the official Pokémon Center Nagoya web site. However, we feel that there may be enough evidence to say it is a legitimate event. We hope to have 100% confirmation within the next week. Thanks to kotobuki for trying to find the information and Pokémon for us.
